Would you like to provide complete peace of mind to your patients or residents?

We can help you achieve this and more with our Wireless Nurse Call Systems. With the simple push of a button you can be alerted to a call for help and respond immediately.

How BellMe Wireless Nurse Call Systems Work

A Nurse Call system is a method of communication between patient or resident and caregiver, which is used to reduce the response time during a critical event. It is an absolute necessity to any institute that is providing care to the elderly. Here is how our Nurse Call Systems work:

The Nurse or Matron is able to respond immediately to the exact location that the patient or resident is situated.
The notification is wirelessly transmitted to the Nurse or Matron via a Display Panel at the Nurses’ station or a wristwatch which gives off an alert sound and a vibration in case the Nurse is away from the station during a medical emergency. On the way to the patient or resident, the Nurse may also quickly recognize which room to go into via LED lights flashing above the door.

Discover the Benefits of BellMe Wireless Nurse Call Systems

Our Wireless Nurse Call Systems will significantly reduce the challenging demands of a Hospital or Retirement Home environment.

We all know the struggle that elderly or disabled people have in their everyday lives. It isn’t always easy to get from one place to another and when an accident does occur they might not get the immediate assistance as needed.

Imagine the possibility of improved response time, minimal cables and instant notification of an emergency with the push of a button. With BellMe we can offer you all of this and so much more.

Quick Installation, Easy to Use

Our systems are extremely easy to programme and operate. Self Installation is a breeze. Simply mount our call buttons onto a flat surface and you are good to go. BellMe can also set the calling information for you or you can programme each call button easily. If your team would like to modify and adjust the system, BellMe will provide videos so that you can take control and we will be there to provide support.

No Monthly Rental

Your organization does not need to incur an extra monthly expense when purchasing our Nurse Call Systems. All BellMe Products are once off purchases. We do not sign you into rental contracts that only cost you more money when you could have just bought a system that will last you a lifetime.

No Hidden Costs

Your Nurse Call System comes with the basic equipment required for it to run smoothly. For eg: each Call Button is supplied with the mounting bracket even if you only want to use it on a lanyard and all Display Panels come with a Power Supply.

Free Support

We offer technical support and we are willing to go the extra mile for our customers. You don’t have to be slowed down by any technical aspect of our products. We will provide telephonic or remote login support to you.

No Internet Connection Needed

Our Nurse Call Systems use radio frequency to wirelessly send out a signal or notification. If your internet connection is interrupted your Nurse Call System will continue to work as normal.

Optional Maintenance Plans

Have peace of mind that you are not bound to your service provider by a contract. If you wish to enter into a Maintenance Agreement we can provide you with a choice of packages to suit your establishment. The Maintenance Agreement is valid for 12 months with payment made via a debit order. Speak to us for more information.

Cost Effective Nurse Call Systems

Our systems are more cost-effective than typical wired systems. A Wireless Nurse Call System is far more cost effective in a retirement home or hospital since installation is a breeze. Running cables through a beautiful establishment can be a tedious task especially if the retirement home or hospital is spread out. Upgrading a wireless system or moving the nurse call buttons around is fairly quick. Even if you would like to rename call buttons it's a simple 3 step process that takes less than a minute.

Residents can move freely

Your residents can call for assistance from the bathroom, garden, lounge or any other area a resident may occupy. BellMe Call Buttons can be worn on a Lanyard so residents may move around with their button close at hand to call for assistance. Speak to us about boosting your Call Button transmissions to cover any area of your property.

Reliable communication

Wireless nurse call systems have been proven to be more reliable than wired nurse call systems, over time the copper cables in a wired system start to break down and start triggering false alerts and malfunctions. Some common issues with a wired system:

Lightning Strikes:
whereby entire system runs the risk of being damaged in the event of a lightning strike which is, in most of the cases, where BellMe comes to the rescue.

Rodents:
We have also been told about cases where rats chew and damage wires.

Excessive wiring causing loss of communication
Another incident experienced with a wired system is that when a check was done on the system they found that one of the wires were cut off and there is no way of knowing how long it has been that way - if something would have happened to that resident it would have been really problematic. It is assumed that the fire company must have confused the wire from the wired nurse call system with one of their systems wires and it was cut by mistake without realizing.

Our Nurse Calls Systems are Wireless, Reliable and provide Effective Communication between you and your patient or resident.

Our Nurse Call System Video Testimonials

Villa Sunfield

What would happen if you didn’t have BellMe?
They would’ve died definitely, because when they fall sometimes, for instance, we have some blind people around here whom they are far away from the nurse’s station so if we didn’t have a bell we wouldn’t get to them in time. So obviously we would find there is a major problem there.

How many lives has it saved?
It has saved a lot of lives. For every nursing home they should have this. It’s definitely a life saver. They rely on this bell so much that they don’t want to part with it. If they don’t have the bell: “I’m going to die”. Honestly that’s how they feel. If they don’t have this bell on their neck to them they are dead. If anything happens to them they won’t be able to ring the bell and they can’t scream nobody is going to hear them so obviously they are going to die.

NURSING SERVICE MANAGER VILLA SUNFIELD – DURBAN 2018

We’d like to thank BellMe for giving us this bell. It’s going to help our resident to prevent those incidents that happen while nurses can’t see. It’s going to be easy because the resident will press the bell then we’ll see what’s happening.

Really awesome, BellMe is a really cool product, I’m actually a C6 quadriplegic and I use it to communicate with my helper, I actually have a 24-hour helper here. Initially I use to just rely on my cell phone to contact her but you know cellphone is not a 100% solution where sometimes we have issues with the network or the phone is off and I can’t always get her on time so I started using the BellMe system and I’m very very impressed with it.
Firstly it’s very easy to use because I have limited finger mobility so it is quite easy to press the button, button is quite big. Secondly it’s quite convenient, I can always have it around my neck.

It is very light weighed, I don’t even feel it there. I just have it around my neck the whole day and whenever I need my helper I can just call her. The other is that I was concerned about was the distance because she is based quite a far distance away and it is on a level below us so I was concerned about the frequency , whether it will reach but it seems to be transmitting very well and it works 100% even though it's quite far away.
Lastly the price, I was quite impressed with the price as well, I always thought that these wireless systems were quite expensive and I found it to be quite affordable. I got 4 buttons, a calling light and a UPS. Definitely well worth it, you know it’s something essential that I need in my home now especially being a quadriplegic, so it’s something I can’t live without.

KREASON GOVENDER

NURSE CALL SYSTEM USER – 2017

How has the system helped you guys here at Serene Park?
The system is very very very helpful because when it rings you can see the letters very well, they are big and clear and the sound is very very clear. Even if you are far, you can hear it and it rings until you come and stop it and then you can go to the resident and help them.

Have you had any problems with the system?
There are no problems at all because there is no way that you can miss it. There is no way you can miss it and we advised the resident to check the batteries now and then so that they must not sit with a panic button with a battery that is not working.” So BellMe really helped you guys here at Serene park? “It helps us a lot, it helps us a lot. We advise them to wear it around their neck so that anywhere they fall, in the bathroom or anywhere, if they got that accident they can just press the button and there is no way that we can miss it.

Nurse Call System Client Reviews

BellMe is a wonderful product. Having parents in their late 80s or 90s is scary for any child. My father recently broke his shoulder and without the use of his right arm he found himself stuck in a couple of situations and was calling for help for over 30 minutes. Thank goodness I came across the BellMe website. I was quickly able to purchase a device for my 89 year old mother and 92 year old father. I can rest easy knowing that all they need to do is press the button on their device and their care giver is instantly notified that they need help. The good news is that BellMe is very reasonably priced though I would gladly have paid more for the peace of mind that having my parents equipped with a BellMe device has brought me.

Ushir was great assisting us with all the programming of the buttons. All my residents are now wearing their buttons around their necks… (like a medallion… lol)! Some even thought it is a good idea to do a few “test runs”, before handing the buttons out we had a few tested from different rooms and they all came through without any problems. We are very happy with the system so far and would like to thank all involved for the speedy and efficient way things were dealt with.

The BellMe Software will give you the location of the call displayed on a floor plan via your computer screen allowing you to navigate to the area that needs attention as quick as possible.

Connect a LAN cable to a PC or Laptop, and you will have access to:

  • When a Call Button is Pressed on your Nurse Call System
  • When a Cancel Button is pressed on your Nurse Call System
  • Floor plan of your property
  • Detailed calling information
  • Statistics and Graphs on response time
  • Export to Excel function to easily share

Please note, the software is included with display panel and the LAN cable is not . LAN cable will need to be purchased separately.

In addition, The BellMe Software captures this information and provides you with recorded proof of the time taken between the patient or resident calling and being attended to. The Software also requires administrative logins which will stay with the Matron or Manager so that the nurse cannot change the settings on the software.
